I was lucky enough to get a Majesty Tiger Eye 7 at a great price. Playing it, I realized it was slightly more comfortable than the Smoked Pearl 7 . With the caliber I actually found out how the Tiger eye has a narrower neck of 1 mm. Not a huge difference, but enough for me to notice. I think this is due in some way to the realization of the neck with 3 different woods. Has anyone else noticed this? Probably the Purple Nebula has the same characteristic ...

just to share my little discovery

Though the blanks are cut by CNC, necks are hand sanded. So you'll see minor variations on all of the MM necks.

I have a nebula and a tiger eye 6-string. They both to feel pretty much the same. The only obejective difference are the different tuners. Somehow the wheels are smaller on the nubula. I prefer the ones on the tiger eye. In comparison to my 6-string artisan the feel a little bit different. This might also just be due to the fact that the back of the neck of the artisan is matte. However, I does feel a bit beefier though. But not much. This subjective difference might as well be a result of bias or small production margins. Regards, J
