Tips on repairing a guitar case

Hey folks. The other day I found that my MM hard case will not stay open properly. Typically there is a strap that keeps the top of the case from opening past a 90 degree angle with the bottom half of the case. However, that strap has now slipped out of the lining of the case, and thus the top half of the case swings all the way around. I can post pics later... but I would think you get the idea.

Any tips on fixing this? Crazy glue, 2-part epoxy, just live with it???

For this I like to try epoxy first, then if more drastic measures are needed you can put a pop rivet in it.

Mine has done the same - I repaired the loose end with hot glue and a few days later the other end of the strap came loose!!

I think a rivet (with a backing washer) may be the trick.

I had one of my cases fixed with a rivet. Did the job just fine.
