...and I'm not talking about t*ts!!!

I know that there have been discussions about whether or not to put products like fast fret and other silicone containing products on the fretboards of our ebmms.

Well I ordered some Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil and Gun Stock Wax, the same stuff EBMM uses on their necks and fretboards (maple). Well guess what Gun Stock Wax contains...carnauba, beeswax and silicone!!

I guess its safe!

Thought you'd like to know!

...couldn't we talk about the other kind of silicone? We're all men here, right? :p

Well, I would say that one quick run of the type o' sprays that we've spoke of would be fine, as long as you wiped down your neck after use to get what you can off of the neck after use (and prevent build up).

If you were to cover the neck with it as if you were trying to cover up graffiti, well yeah that would be bad. VERY bad.

Thanks for the enlightenment about the ingredients there, Steve! :)

Hey Steve,

if u haven't already done so, gimme a shout when ur gonna do the rewaxing, I'd like to see how it's done and what the results will be if that's ok. And of course, help u out if I can.

By the way Dodge, it'll have to wait until after my US trip at Christmas as I'll be picking up some Murphys Oil Soap while I'm there!!

Woaaahh!

Look man I'll help you with waxing the neck of your EBMM's but I'm not about to get involved with any bath time activities!!!!

Sheesh, some people
