Thanks BP, and everyone. Got the FMLA stuff squared away today, and will fly home tomorrow.

You know, when I sent my post and request here this morning, my mother was the sole beneficiary I had in mind. I didn't even anticipate how good the support would make *me* feel, too. But it has. Thanks a million.
 
On an indirectly related note, allow me to direct your attention to the FS thread, for anyone who may be interested. Peace & Grace, you all.

I'm sorry to hear that. The hardest part is seeing and knowing they're suffering. My prayers for you and your family, too.
 
Hang in there mate, we have someone in our family on life support atm so very difficult. Really will keep you in our prayers

I lost my mother to cancer in Dec 2005. You and your family will be in my thoughts during this difficult time.
