There have been some rumors of a possible tobacco burst color option for BFRs. Is there any truth to this?

If this is true, I need to start saving RIGHT NOW for my Tobacco Burst JP BFR...

Any info on this at all would be great!

Adam, my friend, the GAS is KILLING YOU!!!! Haha. I'm pretty sure that BP hinted in the JP Baritone thread that the green, purple, and tobacco will all be standard colors. I sure hope so, I wanna either get myself a purple quilt JP, or a tobacco quilt JP.

Hey Colin, I'm not picking up my BFR from the guitar store til Thursday (2 days from now). But I did get a chance to play it for a few hours when it first came in. Amazing guitar. This weekend I'll really have the chance to crank it through my Boogie rig. Can't wait. If you're asking what the difference is between the BFR JP and the BFR JP Baritone, one of the major differences is scale length. The BFR JP is 25.5 inches, and the BFR JP Baritone is 27.5 inches. The added length of the Baritone allows for tighter tension, and can handle lower tunings such as A, or B much better than a standard 25.5 neck could. Hope that answered your question. If not, feel free to ask away my friend.

You know, I love the way the Tobacco Burst looks.. but I could never own one for I would constantly be reminded of the habit that I loved so much, but had to kick so that I didn't keel over and die from smoking myself to death when I'm 40.

Thats good that you quit. Congrats! Now you'll have more money to buy some EBMM's. Haha. GAS sure is a bitch!

The GAS started when I first saw that tobacco burst pic of Paul's a few days ago and then it escalated when you mentioned BP saying it might be an available option soon.

Then it went to defcon 4 when I saw this pic:

Am I crazy for not liking tobacco burst very much? It looks a bit drab to me, at least in pictures. Granted, I'm partially colorblind.

ah, idunno.... thats like an old gibson color. Its a great finish, but the JP6 is like, too modern to have that. Maybe I'm just used to the flashier, sparklier colors.
