I just did a search in the pictures thread for Tobacco Burst and only found one.
After seeing the Ed Friedland review of the Sterling 5 which shows a beautiful TB finish, I'm considering this option for my 3rd EBMM. Is there no love for this Classic look?

(Pics, anyone?) :)

Thanks to Phatty & Rod for the other places to find pictures. Alas, there are only but a few. (I guess that makes it more special :))

And +1 to Mingus, Tobacco Burst is a wonderful finish. CLASSIC!

Yeah, I picked up my special order tobacco burst Sterling HH after a long wait last Christmas--and boy was it worth the wait! I'll post some picks here soon. It' gorgeous, and of course sounds amazing.

If anyone's interested (PM me), I know where there's a newly arrived Sterling 5 HH with rosewood fretboard available. I would have bought it myself but I decided to by the 2008 LE version instead.

Moondog,

That bass is just beautiful!
I keep going back and forth from Honey burst to Tobacco burst but your pics make an excellent case to go TB. That's a looker for sure.

I absolutely love the look of my honeyburst but I have to admit there's nothing like the classic look of a tobacco burst or three tone sunburst.
