In getting used to my new JP15, I have grown to love the middle position of the top toggle switch (3 way switch between magnetic/piezo and both). I'm getting really good at just rolling the piezo and mag volume with my hand while playing - as I really prefer the acoustic sound being there even when I'm wanting a dirty sound. It really helps to create space in the middle when the rest of the band starts playing too loud.

I still occasionally hit that top toggle switch and it mucks everything else. I wish there was a way to remove it completely and replace it with a cap, retaining that middle position - but I'm sure nothing like that exists out there. I also now have a foot switch to toggle when needed so the toggle switch on the guitar has become quite useless to me. Anyone have an idea for just locking that into place - or do I just need to get a better at paying attention? :)

Just guessing... you could unscrew it and remove it, then wire the cables at the piezo position.

Alrighty.. I'll look into doing this. I'm going to hit up my music store friend this week and see if I can get an assist. Appreciate it guys.
