Help! Tone Control Knob - Axis Supersport

I have now managed to purchase a replacement Tone Control Knob for my Axis Supersport.

Can anybody offer any advice on how to change it?

I do not want to pull it off with Incredible Hulk like strength and break it....so any advice would be really appreciated!
