Tone Difference?

In general ( I know that every guitar sounds a bit different).
What do the different models sound like?
How do they compare to one another?
Axis with and without the floyd?
Morse?
Al?>
Luke
Ect.....?

this is a tough question and there is no unique answer cause all EBMM guitars are very versatile

This afternoon, I was playing dire straits licks with my EVH volume at 5 middle pup position

You can play country with an ASS and Rock'n roll with the Albert Lee model SSS there is no rule.

Most of the sound is anyway in your finger so ....

All guitars are a bit different. I owned 2 identical 1991 EBMM EVH guitars (still have the one) They were the same year, same model, same color. You could not tell the difference looking at them side by side. But one I loved the tone, the other not so much. So I sold the other. (Wish I would have kept it looking back)
So it all depends on your own ear and feel...

I could not even know where to start to answer a question like this. But custom53 brought up a great point, and to go one better I even had a friend who had two models of a guitar(non Balls) that had consecutive serial numbers, and one had a heavily quilted top and the other hardly any besides the tone being so much better on one.

that's why it's always a better idea to own different guitars instead of several of the same. your gonna wait much longer before selling any.
