I ordered a Albert Lee which took about 3 months before it arrived. It might take a bit longer for international orders but I'm just guessing. Either way it will be worth the wait for any EBMM guitar. I hope it arrives soon for you.

Hi friends

While waiting for my Steve Morse signature, I am useful myself of that of my father, Strat Plus of 1990.
He is 49 years old and lived best the moment of the rock'n'roll, with ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page, Tomi Iommi, Alvin Lee, Johnny Winter, Van Halen, and of more recent as Steve Morse (That which I prefer) Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Mike Keneally, and John Petrucci........
I don't know Albert Lee, my father told me, beside Hendrix, he was the mentor of Ritchie Blackmore, that's right ?

I'm not sure about that.....maybe someone else might know. Albert Lee used to tour with a lot of different people years back including Eric Clapton for a while, Joe Cocker, Emmylou Harris and a ton more. Most of this being back in the 70's and 80's. He was on a couple Steve Morse records too. Look for the tune "General Lee" and you'll hear both of them tearing it up! His major influence for guitarist anyway has been in country music I suppose. Especially with the "chicken pickin" style. Although he learned from players before him many of todays biggest guitarist credit Albert Lee as being the one who made them want to play that way. He is also an extremely gifted pianist. Today he tours with a band called Hogans Heros all over Europe so you might get a chance to see him. There is a lot more to his career that I'm sure someone else can tell you more about and also correct any mistakes I may have made.

Oh, the nerdiness that as me knows no limits...

On the bright side, taking French for 10 years had virtually no effect on my ability to impress girls. Which was the whole reason I took the language.

Boo!

Hi to the bests !!

The EBMM' reply :

Thank you for contacting Ernie Ball Music Man. We apologize for the delay. Unfortunately, due to the shortage of choice poplar wood that we can use for the Steve Morse in blueburst, the standard wait time is anywhere from 6 to 9 months.

Salut Olivier,

I live in the SE U.S. in Atlanta, Ga.

I purchased an Axis SS, which is basswood with a maple top, not the poplar.

I saw that in your post above. That is why I stated that the Axis SS uses basswood with a maple top. I don't think your long wait has anything to do with being international (versus being U.S. based).

EB's message to you stated that there is a longer wait for the Morse, due to a shortage of poplar (EB is having to wait longer to get the raw poplar wood, therefore the time you have to wait is longer) . Since there apparently is no shortage of basswood, maple, and ashwood the wait time for the Axis and Albert Lee models is not as long.

Salut Antoine !!
A+
