Sorry can't afford a new guitar but after reading Forrest White's book on the early days of Fender, I wanted to read this book.Music Man 1978-1982 (and Then Some): The Other Side of the Story (Paperback) author Frank WM Green

I had ordered it for delivery before Christmas but it got "lost in the post" I re ordered it, and got it today.:)

I have just started reading it and it won't take too long to read as a huge chunk at the end of the book is a reproduction of a 1980 MM catalogue advertising amps guitars, accessories etc.

So if you are an EB nut - this one is for you.

It's sloppily type set and whoever proof read it needs a rocket up their ****,

It would have been great to have got the skinny from Leo himself so you have to realise that these are the writings of Frank Green (marketing who clearly bonded with Tom Walker)
- I also have on order the Book on G & L guitars, so I'll be going the whole 9 yards - Early Fender - Music Man - G & L.

Cheers Spud, didn't know such a book existed...seems to be rather thin though. But I'm sure there's some great info to be had. The only book I knew covering some MM history (on 3-4 pages...) is Richard R. Smith's book on Fender.

Let us know what you think of it when you're through.
