Hey all, sorry I haven't been on the boards here much, I've literally spent all of my free time playing my ebmm since I bought it! I wanted to come by and mention that I finally got a chance to do a session with my albert lee, something I had been majorly looking forward to. It did not disappoint! I've mainly used a prs custom 24 se and a gibson l6 for the last couple of years, so I brought them "just in case" (i guess as a security blanket). Not necessary in the slightest! The al can get the growl of the prs, the chunk of the l6, plus the twangy tones I've been missing from not having a tele. And I only had to tune it once in five hours! The engineer automatically called me his hero for the day for bringing it in. This guitar combined with my marshall tsl100 pretty much equals being able to get any tone I could possibly want. What a guitar!

Wow - that's great acclaim for the AL.

Have to say I played a HH roasted AL for the first time the other week and it blew me away.

Played my Al live last Thursday, and honestly can't remember having to retune.

So it's good to see another AL convert on the forum.
