Toto does Steely

Thanks for the kind words. I was sick he night e did the DVD so i think i suck but thats me all the time. hahaha i have alwasy LOVED Steely, almost did the ill fated AJA tour in 1977. I had just come off the Boz Scaggs Sild Degrees tour and Irving Azoff was the manager and he asked me to do the tour. Denny Dias and I started pre-rehearsing and then the tour didnt happen. I was STOKED to be asked! I have jammed with Donald and Walter over the years but never did a record. It is my last request..to get a solo on a Steely record before I die. I have joked about this with Walter but he loves playin and they have a really good guitar player Jon herrington and had Drew Zing who is also great soo.. this might be the closest I get. hahaha.
I have always loved there music from record one to now! In High School Jeff Porcaro was in Steely and our High School band, Myself, Mike Landau, John Pierce on bass, Steve Porcaro and Carlos Vega learned the whole Katy Lied recod before it came out as Jeff had
the roughs. Jeff and David Paich used to come sit in with us doing High school dances circa 1973-74-75 and the rest sort of fell into place a few years later.
My life story to follow. hahahahahaha
Have a good one
Lucious
