Awesome show on the 101 right now. Toto live in Paris on the "Falling in Between" tour.
I noticed Luke had 2 guitars with what looked like a passive pick up in the neck position and an additional toggle on the guitar. Does anyone know the story? Very curious. Thanks.

Yeah - I believe his black sparkle has a Fernandez Sustainer in the neck position if that's the one you are talking about.

That is a cool Toto show, but the Amsterdam one just blows it out of the water IMO. It is great to hear about Toto getting some play on tv though. The pickup is most definitely a Fernandez Sustainer.

Ya, I was very pleasantly surprised to see Toto with some TV time as well. I will look up the NL show. Thanks.

No he has had that black sparkle with the sustainer in it for a LONG time. Thats his favourite guitar actually. He has a red one with a sustainer too as a back-up. All his others just have the normal EMG setup. He has said that Steve Vai introduced him to the Fernandes Sustainer, and he does use it occasionally during shows, but not often.
