Hi guys,

TOTO played yesterday in Bavaria on their tour to help Mike Porcaro and his family.

The weather was terrible, a lot of rain through the whole gig . I was wet to the bones. The cars were parking on an acre and I had a lot of luck that I didn´t need someone to pull me out of this sh.....t like many others.

But the concert was real real great :D. Luke played fantastic, but what´s impressive is the tightness, groove and musical feel of the whole band. Simon Philips is a monster on drums, Nathan East plays the bass like god (every time I see him I´m totaly fascinated). Also nice to see Steve Porcaro after morre than 20 years. Joe Williams is a great singer, to fantastic background singers and David Paich is always a funny guy.

I´m very happy to get the chance to see them again.

I was there as well ; weather conditions were terrible  spent 7 hours completly wet !!!

If it wasn't one one my favourite band, my favourite guitar player, and one of the latest opportunity to enjoy their live performance, I would have left .

Thought the show was amazing despite of the pouring rain, that was a really tough evening ....

My friends and I (all "Totoweb.org" members) were fortunate enough to enjoy
the day before show in Singen ; Luke knows what kind of crazy fans we are to follow him and his projects throughout the world :D

More than 2000 kilometers in three days, 2 great shows, but the last one was not the party we'd expected... we had a wet /freezing fun, but we kept our sense of humour, and our fan determination .

Toto is stronger than ever, but German rain is rather strong as well ...

That was a real adventure... we left Munich this Morning 8.00 Am, just arrived home, and I don't need any kind of shower ... :D

You know what the Germans are doing they do it very well (so also the rain :p). But it was the first rainy day since some hot hot weeks here, around 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit almost every day the last weeks.

Great that you did this adventure from France all around Germany and back. Hope you liked what you see, I like France as well and was often there in Paris and the south.

Je parle aussi un peu francais, j´ai appris a l´ecole.

Hi Rainer

We met nothing but nice people, despite the rain yesterday...

We had a lot of fun, and two great shows to enjoy :D

That was a long way driving, but worth going ; many thanks to german people , their behaviour and frendship we appreciated a lot.

Aber, warum haben sie die sonne für euren nachbach freuden vergessen ?

(sorry for my poor german language, but thanks for german friendship, we 've loved our short stay in your country )

(Shoun'dnt havent tried to post, anyway ...) :D

Sounds like you guys all had a great but cold and wet time. I have to agree with Threeminutesboy though. At this stage in life I would not mind seeing a show in rain and warm weather ,but no way the cold.lol That is why I gave up my Giants seats some years ago.

we didn't know about weather conditions ; we queued 2 hours before the doors open, then after my friends and I took the first rank, rain started and never stopped...

Toto played an amazing show; Joe Williams sang his a... off, the whole band was really powerfull !

we didn' t enjoy "slow "songs as the show the day before in Singen, because we needed to move our bodies ... we have suffered listening to one of our favourite band !

"Gipsy Train" would have been a good choice to get us a little bit warmer, ah ah ...

What about Luke ?

Wow, this man is an Alien ; if perfection exists on guitar playing, Steve deserves all our admiration, respect, and friendship :)

Great guitar tone, Steve plays better than ever ; my friends and I were fortunate enough to enjoy this "gift of tone " ...

We were there, suffering, but we've enjoyed Toto's show( and its shower ...)

PS : please leave "Jory" in Europe ...:D

Cool! I wish they came to the states a least the last time. Never got a chance to see em live. However I honestly think Bobby Kimball has a better voice...but I understand the whole idea of the line-up. Thanks for the vid!

Mmm....I like Bobbys voice on CD alot. There was much talk about the amount of electronic wizardry used on the vocals on the FIB tour...Luke has gone on record saying that he had concerns over it. This time they've ditched that and gone for "warts 'n all" approach. There'll be a few missed notes, but that's the point. It's live and real. I think Joe is doing an amazing job.

I think it's the best Toto line-up in years, and I hope and wish that that they carry it on a while longer. I just wish Mike Pocaro was well - he lit up the stage imho. Didn't move around very much - it was just his presence and smile...

Anyway great vids, but who's gonna tell Steve Pocaro that he can't dance?! :D

Genesis maybe :D

as for Bobby, he is involved in a new band called Yoso so that's it.

I like all toto singers anyway Bobby, Fergie and Joseph (forget about Byron, this guy was the only mistake in an unstained career)

hearing "Till the End" like that, it's like being 22 years old. I really hope there will be an official DVD or live album of this tour the set list is just awesome
