The Redrise has 2 very annoying dings (to the wood).

Now, autumn redrise is not the kind of colour that looks good when beat up like a vintage sunburst or black. It's a funky finish that looks best when pristine and under intensive lighting.

Any advice on touching up the finish? Some kind of 'special' substance?

Thanks

wish i could help, but i would assume that touching up that kind of color is like touching up a car with a metallic paint...close to impossible to match it, my racecar is 4 different colors of metallic black...

I think your best bet is to put some super glue over it so that it doesn't chip off anymore and just try and be careful with it!
