thinking about selling my 1980 lp custom and getting a axis super sport .... am I crazy? :eek:

not at all......but i'll warn you now....if you do get an ebmm.......it will take a little while to get use to the 3rd and 4th string staying in tune......and all the extra tonal versitility.....

To be honest, this might not be the best place for an impartial answer - if you had said you were thinking of selling a kidney or whatever to buy an Axis, most people on this forum would probably think that was OK ;)

Thats so true, D and G never stay in tune on those things

I'd save up for the EBMM & keep that Paul. It's cool to have different sounds.

Plus, a little nut filing and that LP should be fine.

Yeah I agree, keep the custom and save up enough for an EBMM.
I made the mistake years ago by trading in my les paul standard
for a yamaha pacifica.

it may not be that perty anymore, but I think I'll keep her and just save up....I think I might regret it...........btw, the cab is for sale....

I like it! Especially the gold knobs on that Custom...looks cool

Kinda looks like Hetfeld's 73 Custom, many see that wear as a badge of honor!

I've decided to keep it....lol..... I'll just save up and buy one.. I've already got $700 saved so I'm on my way...... I keep waiting for a silo non trem on the bay, but they are hard to find...... axis are everywhere though... :rolleyes:
