This is for Dargin (and the rest of the crew) - In the years I've been here I don't think I've seen excitement like this over a particular bass/guitar (just look at our DD sticky). We know that the DD's are starting to slink their way across the factory (we have the inital shots :) )... don't know if it would be possible, but it would be kind of nice to track the movements of the first batch as they start to roll (mind you, I have no idea which batch mine will roll in). Kind of like a start to finish virtual factory tour following the first batch. I realize you all have more to do than entertain the drooling rumblings of the Dargie crowd, but anything would be cool. Thoughts???

And if I've overstepped here please delete.

Sit down, relax, and contemplate your razor-edged, steel-rimmed bowler hat.

Do not provoke the EBMM elves. Do not throw said razor-edged, steel-rimmed bowler hat at them (remember what happened to you the last time you lobbed it indoors....fzzzzzzt!).

They are working as fast and hard as they can and will produce your toy in their own good time.

Take joy in the fact that you are not at the tail end of the line like me!

I think it will kill me when the first round of proud DD owners start posting pics.

We will try burt we are really swamped trying to get everything we have on our plates done.

I appreciate that... and that is all I could ask for -
(I personally just thought it would be cool to follow an instrument or batch of them all the way through the plant - and the DDs give us a good excuse to do it).

Not trying to provoke anyone... just had the thought, thought it was kinda cool, and posted (of course I'm a guy, I think everything I come up with is cool :) ). If they can, they will, if they can't no biggie. If it doesn't work for the DDs now I think that following any instrument all the way through would be cool.

I totally agree, would be really cool to see the inside scoop until ours come.

Thanks for the thought!

I'm glad I was finally able to log back into the forum (Have I mentioned moving sucks? Have I mentioned that it sucks even more when thieves steal all of copper plumbing the day before you move in?).

So, what were the first two that shipped? Stingrays? Bongos? Jazz Bass?

Just kidding about the Jazz Bass thing.

I saw the other thread. This is another reason I'm hooked on EBMM... I make a small request and BP and Scott go with it. Thank you both for humoring me :) (Seriously, the 1st DD shot, where the Bongo looks like it is rough sanded is very cool - hard to believe the end product it will turn into).

I think Aussie Mark ordered a Bongo HH4, or maybe HS4. He's back down under now so that's one more.
