Trem springs on Luke II

Hello Luke owners!

I have a Luke II and i have 3 springs installed, i´ve heard that it comes from factory with 2 springs, right?

Shall i leave it like that or do i have to remove one spring?

It's your preference since it's your guitar. Do you like it with 3 springs? If so, then leave that way.

Otherwise take the 3rd spring out and v the other 2 and see how that feels.

The Luke comes with 2 springs attached and floats so that the trem can be used to raise or lower pitch. If it has a piezo, then it comes with 3 springs attached, which provides enough tension so that it no longer floats and the trem will only lower pitch.

If you want it to float, you'll probably have to remove one spring, but it might depend on the kind of strings you are using.

My Luke has allways got 3 springs and the trem is floating, i can raise and low the pitch. I´m using 009-042 strings! I can raise the pitch almost 1 1/2!
I was only a little confused because i read somewhere that it comes with two springs from factory, but mine was coming with three!?

The only way that they would come from the factory with 3 springs is if you have the piezo option.
