My newly aquired Luke is the first playa I've had in a long time that I've keep the trem floating. All of the others are blocked and only release tension. Has anyone used the Tremel-no? Just curious if this is a worthwhile add.

If you do a quick search under tremel-no there are probably several threads related to it. The developer is a member of the forum (Kevan).

But after a while I believe some of the threads were shutting down early and the primary advice was to check with the tremel-no site.

good luck

I installed one on my JP6 and have been pleased with the results. There is a newer version out now with a different tailpiece that hooks into the block. I haven't seen a good pic of this new one installed yet. The old one required an adaptor for the EB block because it's on an angle.

That being said, it was easy to install (20 minutes) and works as advertised. It's great on a gig when you need drop tuning and you won't need to switch guitars.

I've heard pretty good things about it. Yep, check the site for more details. Also, OC here is a friend of Kevan so he can steer you in the right direction.
