Essentially you replace the claw with the T-No and it's claw system (retrofits to the existing claw screws), set it....and forget it....and it improves tone too.

Yeah Raz, you can do that with a box o' screws....and then not have use of the trem on the fly, and also DAMAGE your guitar....
How does that damage my guitar? I still have use of the trem, just like the Deep C, in Dive ONLY mode.

Since you had to screw those screws into thee guitar....plus you can't go from locked fixed to full floating on the fly if you're using your method...

Well it looks like I'll have to throw the damn thing out then cause it's damaged

I only posted it as a comparison to that other device not as a substitute for the Tremelo-No...besides I only want my trem as a Dive Only...

That's the issue tho Raz....you don't have to DRILL or mod anything....just drop in and tweak and you go....plus...and I can attest to this, it improves tone noticeably...but rather than spin the wheels....either you dig it or you don't, personally having had a proto, I would outfit EACH of my axes with one since it works so well....and it;s ingenius, when floating it doesn't effect the trem feel AT ALL. Flutters abound...

I hear ya, but 4 month ago, Tremelo-No was a No-Show, and I wasn't going to pay 80.00 CDN or so, for the Tremsetter, so I used the screws. dig, and as I said on the first page of this thread, I was in on the scene...

Kev has been REALLY patient during this process. I've been in touch with him pretty often since I saw the Tremol-no at Nashville NAMM last year, and I'm glad it's finally happening for him (and us! LOL)

I'm very excited to get these on all of my trem-equipped guitars. :D

I wish these had come out years ago - the only Floyd guitar I own now is my EVH, which won't benefit from this technology. Damn - my old Charvel really needed that - 10 years too late for me...

Ah, but it probably will!

Lock it down with the Tremol-no, and you'd have a hard tail Axis.

It's all done with small thumb screws on-the-fly, so you can be divebombing when you want to, and hard tail when you want to.

Plus, you may like the sustain benefits you seem to get with this....

And, it's not just for Floyds...My Hubers are getting them also, and I have some friends with Strats and PRSi that are putting them on.

I don't think I would bother fitting one to my EVH - I keep it fairly stiff anyway so that it is more or less a hard tail unless I really want to press on the bar. It could be good for my PRS SC trem though - I'll wait for some reviews... :)

I have a Tremol-No sitting at home awaiting one of the adaptor plates to come directly from Kevan. As soon as it arrives, i'll be installing it in my JP7 and i'll post a full report here!
