Tremolo bar

Hi Guys, I'm new here. I have a Majesty John Petrucci Music Man 2020. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, maybe it's impossible with this guitar but is there a way to fix the tremolo bar ? If I let it go, the tremolo bar swings away. I hope you understand the question, difficult to explain in English ;-)
I've seen a movie of John Petrucci on youtube where he explains some tremolo techniques but his bar is fixed, mine isn't :-( . Thanks already
