Problem I'd like to Fix: When my volume is all the way up and I stop playing there is a buzzing sound. This sound only occurs when I take my hands off of the guitar.

Question: Does anyone know of any tricks to grounding the wire/guitar so the buzz will go away? If it helps knowing, Im using Monster Cables..

**Tricks that don't involve a noise gate?** I'll eventually get one.

Thanks! :)

One thing to remember. Guitar circuits are typically designed so your body grounds the guitar through the strings. Without your hands on the strings, you will hear buzz as if the ground has been lifted. There's likely nothing wrong with your guitar, but you can try a couple things:

1. Make sure the guitar is grounded properly. There should be a ground wire going to the bridge of the guitar somehow. My guess is that it already is grounded properly since it's acting like it.
2. Add shielding. You can get copper shielding tape from stewmac.com
3. Add a noise suppressor of some kind.
