picked up EB Strings

wonder wipes - string cleaner - fretboard conditioner too!

COOL!! I'm in Marlborough out along Rt. 495.

The one in Natick is pretty good. I'll have to check out the new Boston one sometime though.

Thanx, Glenn |B)

Wish I was that lucky. Here in Charleston SC out GC sucks and NEVER has any ball guitars in stock. They also let the kids beat up the basses, I hate that place so much!!

I went to the old Boston GC when I was over there two years ago, I couldn't believe the amount of stock that they had. Nothing like we get in shops over here, so I can only guess that the new one will be fantastic.

Hopefully I'll make it over again before too long, so I'll try and check it out.

Great stuff - I wish that I was close to a dealer like this?

I dunno Spud....it's a catch 22. GC has some good product sometimes, but everything just gets hammered. Every guitar that I see in that place is poorly set up (except balls) and everything looks used....the kids just work that place over. Then they don't want to flex on the price of a new ball that has scratches on it.
I guess it's a decent place to get a reference point..or if you get lucky and find something that just hit the floor. It's better than not having any dealer, but leaves alot to be desired. Like previous poster commented..it's usually really loud (full of grom shredders).

The GC's in Colorado don't have much Ball selection. In fact Drum City (small local shop) has more Balls. My 2.

Only 3,000 miles in a boat Spud!!

Hee hee - I will get over to the States - trouble is the pound is worth bladders at the mo.

Hadn't thought about that problem Luv - I know that the local shops here in Cardiff are pretty strict on how people play the guitars in the shop, without being tooooooooooooooo heavy handed.

When I was fortunate to try an AL out, it had been ordered for someone and I literally only tried it for what seemed like a minute - then had to pack it away again.

Even so, it's great news that you have an outlet nearby that has a good range of balls. How about a pic of their "Balls on the wall" ha?

Does the Natick one have a lot of EB stuff? I'm heading down that way next week.

I stopped in Natick today (don't tell my wife) to pick up a new Line 6 wireless guitar setup with the price drop and the 10% off coupon. :D I had to bug out, but was just there last week and they had 2 new JP6's and a used axis sport. Bunch of bass', though. A whole wall of them. They don't tend to get a lot of MM guitars in there. The 3 they now have is the most I've ever seen there.

I gotta get into Boston sometime. Was in town last weekend, but it was a getaway with my wife for the weekend and I didn't dare bring up going into a guitar store. Well, actually I did....and she said no way.

Shane, from what Jack has told me they have an Axis Sport, other than that I'm not sure. When are you going down??

Yup Spud - not too shabby - here we have the big goose-egg, zip, nada, zilch, none...... I own more than the local music shop that used to carry them ever had on display...

I was back in today (my wireless was missing the belt clip). The Axis Sport is still there (silver painted) and the Purple JP (I call them purple, cause that's what they look like to me). The mystic dream JP is either gone or hidden as I could not find it.

Maybe this upcoming weekend, maybe the one after that, it's still up in the air. I was kinda hoping for better news on the Ball front though, so I may just wait and hit up the Boston one. (I really want to find a BFR JP to try)
