Consider this a cry for help, I don't mind :) my AL HH was stolen and it was a VERY special guitar to me. Even when I was never in the mood to play, somehow, she always managed to bring a smile out of me. She played flawlessly, with no hint of buzz, had fantastic tone, and well... that was just my guitar, my #1.

I figured I won't be happy until I replace it with the same model. I have way too many guitars, but, eh. One does what one must do. Rosewood neck, no trem. A pure rock machine.

I was looking for a AL HH either in BFR, or in one of the older colors. The ones still available truly don't do it for me. Just scoured ebay and Reverb but to no avail. I'm willing to go new if it's from a reputable dealer.
If only the HH came with a Piezo, I could replace both my AL HH and the Axis SS Rosewood w/piezo and trem I lost... eh well, a man can dream.

Unfortunately, I never really bought a guitar from a dealer before!
Does one simply call their locals, and ask them to order in? That's assuming NOS guitars even exist for this model...

Any tips/help welcome :) Thanks!

So Pott I've bought from the dealers view online or via phone. I would highly recommend Pete and Nick Dubaldo.

duBaldo music

Chicago Music Exchange. They were great to deal with.

Music Man | electric | Chicago Music Exchange

There are lots of places online. I usually email or call and ask for all kinds of pictures when I'm really interested in something.

There are a bunch of dealers that represent here:

Wild West - https://wildwestguitars.com/

Bass Central (Who sells guitars as well) - Bass Central ? Shop for the World?s Best Basses Amps and Equipment: BassCentral.com

Glory Days - (Benji posts here a lot) - Glory Days Rock Shop | Cool Dudes. Sweet Gear. Awesome Hair.

I've bought from other places that aren't around, unfortunately. If you not sure about a place, post it here and see if others have bought from them.

Good luck, they are out there. Glenn |B)

Yes, any Music Man dealer can get a guitar ordered for you. Everything Music Man makes is to order, so expect a wait of at least 3 months if the guitar is not already in stock.

I do have an All HH on order already. I'm not sure when it will be coming in, but let me know if your interested. (I am a dealer)

I'm so torn about the AL HH. I had one and returned it. Loved the comfy neck. Really dug the pick ups too. Just couldn't bite into the body shape. But something in me keeps pulling me to want one again.
There was one that popped up on CL and it was a sunburst/tort HH for $1,000 bucks. I thought about it and it was gone in under 5 hours. Now there is a guy selling one that is powder blue/white HH. A bit more but it's rare that I see them pop up so close to each other.

I'm just holding out so I can get another EBMM that was just released.

They pop up on ebay and reverb pretty regularly. Both sites allow you to set up email triggers so you get messages when something your searching for is added.

There is also one in the for sale thread here.
