Hey folks,
I'm usually on the guitar side, but had to post this here as well. I saw a True Gold bass today at the GC in Rockville, MD. WOW...it was gorgeous! From what I could tell it had a Vintage White perloid PG. The pictures I've seen of True Gold simply don't do it justice. It has a metalic flake appearance viewed close up.
If you live in the DC area and have been thinking about colors for a pending bass order, go check it out. Sorry, but I can't remember if it was a Sterling or a Sting Ray.
FYI - that color combo was used by EBMM on an AL when they launched the new colors several months ago. I saw that a new AL bass has been created. If True Gold is offered on that new AL bass, you can see what it would look like. Find that new color thread and you'll see it.
OK - back to my skinny string side now.
