Hello. How do you adjust the truss rod on the basses. I purchased a used sub bass, and I need to relieve the "tension" on the neck. It has one heck of a bow on it. I installed ernie ball 105"s on it. It has the same amount of "bow" after installation. I have done 60's jazz necks, a my Rickenbacker neck. (That one has two truss rods.) If you are looking at the bass, with the neck pointing to the left of you. Which way do you turn the rod? (Towards you, or away from you to "losen" the rod.) Thanks.

New (used) Musicman Stingray 5

Hi Rod Trussbroken , just picked up a Stingray 5 in Bris from Scotty .
I did need to adjust the neck - it was a wee bit too flat , an eighth of a turn was all that was needed , thanks for your diagram ; I'm up the Sun Coast hinterland. :) Do you have any gatherings for the M.Man fraternity in Bris ?
