Hi. I'm brand new to the forum and have nobody I can turn to for this. I recently got an MM90 from guitar center, and I am having issues with the truss. I found when I first got it that the frets buzzed something fierce. So I adjusted it a quarter turn and let it sit for a week. A week's gone by and I go to start working on it again to find that it hasn't moved at all. I look at the truss wheel and it is actually sticking out from the base of the neck from where I adjusted it a week ago. I don't have any luthiers in my immediate area and I was wondering if there was a fix for this. Thanks in advance!

Get with GC first since that is who you bought it from if possible. IF not, call Customer Service. Sometimes they just need a little muscle to "pop" the truss. Happened to me once and after that it was good. IF you don't feel comfortable doing that revert back to GC or CS.

Welcome to the forum, Drew!

What the guys said is correct. Go back to GC and if they can't help then give customer service a call. That's what they are there for!

It sounds like the truss rod is slackened right off. If you are buzzing at the highest frets, you'll need to raise the saddles (the truss rod has no effect where the neck and body meet). Check that first before adjusting neck relief. And remember that at low actions, some buzz is inevitable, especially for those of us that play hard.

And by the way, forum tradition says your guitar doesn't exist without pictures! :)

It's a 1 way trus rod. If it's backed all the way out, then I assume you are looking to bow it more (add relief). But yah...bring it back where you bought it and ask them to take care of it first.
