Reading the FAQ on the MusicMan website, i am a little confused about making a trussrod adjustment. Here is what the FAQ says...

An occasional truss rod adjustment will halp keep your bass playing factory-new. If you are getting fret buzz (plugged in only, of course) raise the action by turning the trussrod wheel counter-clockwise, to lower the action turn it clockwise.

From which perspective are you turning the trussrod clockwise or counter-clockwise? Are you looking from the headstock down the bass, or are you looking from the bridge up the bass towards the headstock?

I tried to find an answer to this on the forum, but could not find a string which discusses this.

Thanks!!!!

Mike

Turning the truss wheel toward the E string raises the strings from the fretboard.

Turning the truss wheel toward the G string lowers the strings toward the fretboard.

Going to try this at home. I have a Sterling and the t rod is just as tight as I can get it, and still I need a bit more adjustment. This should work on any bass.

If anyone tried this, please let us know.
