Trying to find info about my bass

Bought it used but in pretty good shape, from a friend, serial number 50821.

The only info the serial number database tells me is:

Serial #	050821
Manufactured	January 2nd, 1989
Model	BASS 5-STR SUNBRST MAPLE

I'd like to know the specs, materials, pickups, weight, etc, etc. Any pointers?

It's one of the first 5 stings (production started in 1988). It should have finished back of the neck and alnico pickup. The neckplate should have to MM logo (or no logo) and the serial is on the bridge. The weight depends from bass to bass so you should weight it.
