So, I love how my new Morse sounds, but I'm curious if I'm having some neck stability issues. I've owned EBMM's before and never had this issue, but I usually tune my instrument right before I put it away and every guitar I own (with this exception) holds perfect tune until the next time I pick it up. My new Morse is usually way sharp or way flat when I pick it up. Not once since I bought it has it held tune between playing sessions. I've developed a little fret buzz on the high E/B and the tuning is all over the place. I bought the guitar, put a new set of strings on it and haven't messed with it all since I bought it in terms of setup. I've been around the block a few times so I'm no newbie in terms of guitar setup or tuning issues, but this is baffling/frustrating me.

Customer Service Issue

Hi Shannon, please give Ernie Ball Music Man Customer Service a call. They can help you with this problem. It's a free call @ 866-823-2255. The EBMM dealer that sold it to you should also be able to help.

Unless the neck is moving (which you'd certainly know about, and wouldn't happen much between playing sessions), there really shouldn't be much to go wrong. I'd double check that the strings are good shape (could have a bad batch of strings), and that they aren't wrapped much around the tuners and that they're properly tightened (that seems to be where people have gone wrong). But if that's the case and you can't see any obvious issues then you should definitely contact CS as a next step. They'll be able to fix you up.

Mine have been rock solid, even with the old non-locking tuners.
