#1 Do all EBMM 6 string guitars have the same neck pocket dimensions; is it possible to use a JP6 neck on Albert Lee?

#2 Alert Lee - How hard is to retrofit a pickguard with HH or HS configuration instead of the original SSS one? Is additional routing required? I am aware of singe-size humbuckers, but I'd like to use full-size ones.

Thank you!

you cant interchange a 22 and 24 fret neck as the intonation would not be correct as the bridge's placement in relation to the scale length would be off, cant help with the rest sorry

It will need to be routed I think.
I'd like to see an AL without a pickguard and just body mounted humbuckers like the axis.

in Hell... with cows...
as far as i know, none of them is a perfect 1/1 swap but the luke and axis models are rumoured to be almost perfect matches. swapping a petrucci and a silo will require routing...

Just to add to Rob's post - each of the current ALs is routed for the factory pickups - either 3 single-coil routes or 3 soapbar routes.

While waiting for the humbucker AL models is the best way to go, one alternative could be to install soapbar-sized mini-buckers in an MM-90 AL. I'm not sure about the depth of the routing; I believe the EBMM MM-90 pickups aren't quite as deep as a standard P-90 so even that swap might require a bit of routing.

The NAMM show is next weekend; the HH AL and the BP AL (3 humbuckers) should be officially announced there.
