Hopefully that doesn't mean that it fell off the back of the truck and they're scrambling to find a replacement that isn't available....

Adoug,
that sucks something hardcore.
I just pray my dargie makes it through the army mail.
Infact, everyone else pray, too.

Ah, that's hateful.

They don't exactly live by the US Postal Service creed, do they?

You have obviosuly not tried ParcelForce – or ParcelFarce as they are better known....Had a package of whisky sent from Japan...arrived here in Norfolk safely. I send it to London and they drop it.....would not have been so back if it had been cheap. One bottle was a mere £500 and one of two in the UK......that was an ouch phone call:rolleyes:

Question:
Why is a person from the UK order Whiskey from Japan?!
I know many Asians truly love whiskey, but I didn't know they actually made any!

I called them.

"Well, I understand that it's beyond your control and you probably can't tell me exactly what happened. I'm just curious. What kind of incident triggers that message?"

"Usually it's something like a traffic accident or a train derailment."

Chances are it'll be fine, but I have horrible visions of the possibilities.

Checked just before I left work.

It's arrived at the distro center, one state over (for you Texans, that's about as far as the next county).

Rescheduled for tomorrow...but we've got a last-gasp winter storm bearing down on us, so we'll see.

I've already got my camera at work so the mandatory photos to prove it does in fact exist will happen.

Heck, I don't care WHEN it gets here, as long as it arrives intact!
