Hi, just playing a bit of a longshot here.
I've come to the realisation that the neck that I want my left hand wrapped around is an Axis or an Albert, I've got this Silo Special which is a nice used guitar which to be fair isn't getting used because when I want to go F****r slaying I always reach for the Albert.
However I'm convinced that after one rehearsal that the 'power trio' that me and a couple of work colleagues have got going is going to have legs!
We're mostly murdering old Cream tunes so my Humbucker loaded Axis is finally getting the workout it so richly deserves.
So I'm thinking that what I'd really like is another one. I know these are beautiful beasts and you'd be a fool to get rid of one but the thought does occur that there might be someone out there who's looking for that single coil snap and is looking at their Axis and wondering whether they need to trade it in ?
I'll be honest if yours is a mint condition case-fresh queen you're not going to want to trade with me, as I said mine is a nice guitar but it's definitely been used.
It's no heartbreak if it doesn't happen, I'm half tempted to slap a JB junior or Lil 59in the bridge posiiton of the Silo so it kind of works as a backup to both my Axis and my Albert but it's funny when I close my eyes all I see is Axis shapes behind my eyelids !
I'm not averse to digging deep to find a bit of extra cash to chuck in with the Silo Special for the right Axis ( If we're being honest the dream trade is a black bound edge Axis/Supersport with zebra p/ups and a hardtail but I'm open to suggestions
