Just wanted to extend my thanks to Pete and Dave for putting it all together and really making the trip all around London worth it. The whole crew at S&T were top geezers and I really enjoyed chatting with all of you.

Thanks to Big Poppa for the great gesture in donating the BFR AL and thanks to Beth for making it over (didn't manage to say hello, but I was the weird short bloke!!)

Congratulations to Strummer and thanks for winning it. I would only have had to carry it all around the tube, so you really saved me the trouble with that one ;)

Great to meet all of the UK Knuckleheads and I'm really looking forward to doing it again.

I definately need to echo all these sentiments. It was a great evening with some great people and some outstanding playing.

Shame it was over so soon actually...SpKirby was just about to take on the devil. What was it you said Steve, you wonder if he'd ever be able to show his face in sheffield again after being trashed by a southerner? Next year mate...next year! ;)

Thanks again all.

The London Guitar show was fantastic fun.

I just want to say a big thank you to Pete (Blind Melon), Alan, The Devil, EBMM And Strings and Things (UK)

I have a funny picture of the my attempt to Dual with the Devil, I think I played okay considering all the lovley Red Stripe I had consumed.

Rock on

A terrific night, many thanks to Blind Lemon, Dave, Beth and all the lads from Strings & Things. And thanks to the Devil and all the guys that had the guts to stand up there and try to keep up with him.

Great to see everyone both at the bash and the Premier Inn afterwards when it got a bit blurry!

Thanks to BP for giving us the opportunity to win the AL (Smellybum hasn’t mentioned so far that he was ‘second’ in the raffle!).:D

Sorry we had to end it at 10:00 but that's latest you're allowed to have events at that venue.
Maybe next year I'll find a new venue where we can go on longer.
Watch this space.

No mate, it wasn't Albert. We can't reveal his true identity, as we'd be cast down into a pit of flames to suffer eternal damnation (or forced to listen to me playing the guitar, which is probably worse!!)

I've no idea of exactly how many of us turned up. I sent out 58 tickets but think that we were slightly short of that number and I was there to have a good time and not in the mood to head count.
I realise that stuff happens and things have to get cancelled at the last minute but I would really like to know who got a ticket and couldn't make it. Im not getting at anyone, it's purely a maths thing. Please let me know if you can.

Cheers,
BL

There were quite a few industry types there to bolster the numbers......

Patrice and Ben from Vigier
Stuart Bull from Lick Library

to name but three

I stayed for a couple of hours with a friend and have only just remembered to express my gratitude - thanks so much to everyone involved - BL & crew, Beth (who is a great Ambassador for Ernie Ball!), all the Knuckleheads who made it - apologies I was driving and on the Coke so my "mingling mode" wasn't engaged but it was great to see players like Andy James close up and everyone having a great time!

Thanks of course to BP for the generous BFR Al - looked awesome!
