On the thread "Sorry there will be no 2010 Knucklehead Bash this year", there has been mention made of having a smaller affair - a more intimate affair (now read that the right way guys!).
I have spoken with Blind Lemon and he has explained the problems he has had in trying to arrange something.
e.g. The pub (The Albion) next to the exhibition is kinda small (intimate!) and if a band was to set up this may cause some issues in people accessing the wash rooms(Solution - give people a bucket !!
).
Other problems involved getting artists to play as they are already booked for the evening.
So my proposal is -Use the Albion pub as the venue.
I believe they do food and of course as it's a pub there will be loads of booze.
I could check if it's at all possible for a smaller Live Music event and maybe us knuckleheads could provide some entertainment?
We can have a chat-talk balls- take the micky out of the Devil (natch!)- get Pete so plastered that we will all become Directors of S & T and get employees discount on our balls
Don't forget - Pete has offered free tix for the Guitar Nation exhibition.
So what I'm after is this - please state whether you intend to attend the after event Bash. Please do not say if/maybe - I'm looking for a "Yes I will be there."
***Important***I also have an idea and would prefer it if anybody attending woud e mail me Spud at web-links dot net and I will discuss further.
