umm yeah as i said in my other thread or whatever i'm just wondering if there are any certain strings i need for tuning from drop d to drop c frequently or should i just use both of my guitars one d and one c anyway i just wanted to know if there was a good string set that could withstand the wrath of my "heavy palm muting"

Try 11's...but, if you never used them, be careful. Personally, when I switch to heavier gauge strings, I make sure to get used to them slowly, then run with 'em. I never go past 10's though. I have been told 10's could be used for C tunings, but I'm not 100% sure if that would suffice or not.
