And hell the worst part is that ED ROMAN bought it. That's probably the best guitar he's ever had in his store!

I didn't pay that much more last month for my sunburst Axis Sport with MM90's and tremolo. The Sports seem to be out of favor right now next to their Super Sport brethren, and are real bargain at those prices. I love both of my Axes, and they're very complimentary.

I agree. That guy is a clown and a half.

I also MUCH prefer the Super Sport to the sport. I just like the black back with creme binding. To me, it just adds so much more class to the guitar.

But hey, any Music Man is better than no Music Man.

I think we're heading down a slippery slope here fellas... Talking about Axis pricing and the used market is fine, but lets forego the character analysis or I'm gonna lock it up... No need to waste bandwidth on these people...

As far as the Axis Sport goes, I picked one of mine up on Ebay three or four years back for $400!! Used prices seem to have been rising steadily over the couple years, but you can still find great deals on Axis Sports, Silhouettes and S.U.B. 1s if you're patient. Bargains can be had, for sure!

I see the guy that won this Axis S is now bidding on a Silo Spec. I looked his handle up and found that he lives in NY. That's not the guy some of you were thinking of. And, I wonder if this bidder knows about this forum?
