Oh yeah, baby!

If I'd managed it in the order window it would have been that or a bongo 5 same configuration

That one is a beauty

Very nice, I wonder what double olives at the twelfth fret would have looked like? I guess not as pure and blank as it is now.

Wow! :)
I've been wondering what an unlined BigAl fretless would look like. I was giving that serious consideration as my next bass.

It IS a beautiful thing.

Just wow.

How does it sound as a fretless?

Wish I knew!
I just saw the pic and had to share...
If I lived in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, I'd check it out for sure!

8 miles from me. I gave them the idea to order it.

I have seen it - touched it - played it. It is beautiful and sounds great.

I liked it a lot. I would have liked a little adornment on the fretboard like the DD-I blank planks had. Just my 2 cents and not meant as any sort of slam.

Jason and his crew a Drum City are nice guys and willing to do what it takes to get your biz. Jump on this if you want a DDII Big Al fretless. I think Jason said its the only DDII Big Al blank plank made.

Question for EBMM: This bass has the compensated nut. I thought that all EBMM fretless basses came with the "regular" nut. Have you had a change of heart/philosophy on this?

That's interesting. My fretless Ebony Edition StingRay also has the compensated nut. My guess is that it's just more convenient in the production to always use the same nut and it doesn't hurt the intonation either ;)
