I have an older Silo with the non-locking tuners, but have been spoiled with my other EBMM's. Is upgrading to the locking variety an easy thing to do? Any tips/tricks/cautions?

I updgraded my Morse to new locking tuners- wasn't that big a deal really. Bought them at Warmoth for a good price (cheaper than I could get at the store down the street ... in my own country ...), drilled the small holes in the headstock for the little "fasteners" that stick out and they fit right in, almost covering up the old holes.

An easy job and worth it, IMHO.

yeah this is really an easy MOD... i've even had them drop in exact with no mods to the headstock whatsoever...

Just heard back from EBMM Customer Service (those guys are awesome!) The tuners are available from any EBMM dealer, and the part numbers are:

M05181 (4) lower 4 tuners
M05180 (2) upper 2

Did that to my Silo and put liquid wood in the old holes and you won´t see it anymore.

P.S. To dg5150 , I got the Stern interview btw , if you want it. Gimme a PM
