hey you guys, who do you think makes the best upright for the buck, i think i am going to invest in one soon. The only problem is that i know nothing about the brands. but i need to know, and my price limit is like
1500 or less
maybe up to 2000

A friend of mine just bought one of those Englehardts from Bob. Very cool bass, and Bob was topnotch to deal with. I'm considering one myself!

Yep, Engelhardts are great basses for the buck. You can usually find a good used one for no more than $1200 and the new ones are only gonna run ya around $2000(atleast up here in Canadia :cool: )
