there is 52 min left on an ebay auction im bidding on for a des gold bongo 5HHP and ive worked out that in comparison to a 5HH i will be paying about 400 to 500 bucks extra for the piezo.....what would you do...is that too much extra to pay. ps. both basses are used and seem to be equivalent

I WON THE AUCTION I OWN MY FIRST EBMM. im stoked, sh*ting my pants aswell at the dosh i just forked out. i am so poor now.
well i paid about an extra 500 for the piezo so i hope i wasnt ripped. the rrp in aust for this bass is $4400 and i paid $2325 i wasnt going to pay that much...bloody auctions getting you excited bloody ebay. the shipping is disgusting though...$135. it all happened 2 min before i had to go to work...if anyones photos turn out wrong its the bongos fault.
i just hope it as as perfect as i think it will be. and the damn piezo better be worth it.

Mate, thats a pretty good price for a Bongo HHP in Australia.

I payed about 2,600, for my HHP when they first came out, but i ordered i from Bass Central in the U.S and got it shipped. And yeah, the shipping is a bitch.

I'm sure you will be glad you got the Piezo. At the moment, i don't really use it for what i am playing, but i like knowing that if i wanted to use it i could :)

Also, remember the first rule of internet bass whores - without photos, it isn't real.

Well, I'd be the last person to quibble about the color! I love it.

I hope it does everything you want it to and more (and I suspect it will).

i dont think any of my best friends have ever designed and made me a bass before...and if they could it would probably be out of toilet rolls and paper mache.
yay for BP...ill go tell all my friends that i hate them, they arent as great as BP and if they were REAL friends they would have made me a bass...or at least a recorder.
