As most of you know, pics can now be displayed thus...eg:

22714493-611f-0260014A-.jpg

A permanent "PIC GALLERY" sticky is about to be introduced. To paste pics, like the above eg, a remote Photo Host is required. I have a host with plenty of space. If anyone requires, I can place your pics on my host and give you the URL link to use for the Gallery. Contact me on my email.

For those who have a photo host and not sure how to paste pics when creating a thread or posting a reply:

*click the little yellow box at top (with mountains in foreground) and you will see this

*paste your URL link and click the box again.

It will look like this:

[IMG]...your URL link...

Don't ask me. I'm lost. Maybe not.
Ok; I did get a link on the post but I must be ?????? I just don't see a yellow... with mountains are whatever you said. I decided two full shots might look better.

bp....

There's two ways of adding a picture. The first way is by image attachment as you've done.

For instant images (like above) you need a remote photo hosting website like
"Club Photo" or similar. You upload your pics to the photo host and, in turn, paste the URL address of the pic here, on the EB Forum.

Whenever creating a new thread, or posting a reply, you'll see editing buttons at the top...."B"...."I"...."U" Go along further and you should see a yellow square box. When you click that, you should see appear in your text below. After that, insert the url address of the pic in your photo host and click the same button again.

This should then appear in your text:

[IMG]............

(The dotted lines, of course, represent your url address)

Thanks for the info. I think I understand now. When I have time I'll try the other
from my ftp just for experimental purposes.

skb....

If you want to get up and running now, attach the pics to an email and I can give you the URLs within a few minutes.

I just checked. Yahoo does have one but you have to register with them. Yahoo also give a list of other pic host sites:

Just a heads up, Yahoo, Geocities and some of the other free hosting services don't allow you to link to images hosted on their sites.

^remove the IMG] and the second [/IMG] and you're all set.

When copy/pasting from a photobucket album, it gives you three options. The third option already adds the IMG tags so that you don't have to a second time once you're on the forum.
