I live in England in the Manchester area and am looking for places to buy a second hand bass amp or stack.
Does anyone here live in england and know of any good places to look?

Ive always used ebay!

Theres also Preloved which is more of an advert type catalogue, but its still alright.

Plus theres your local papers and freeads and things like that.

Having said that i always look on ebay, got my Trace Elliot Valve head and Cab on there for absolute bargains.

I live in Manchester! check out the Bass Ctr, the Birmingham branch has just closed so a lot of the stock has just been shifted up there so the shop is packed to the rafters! Much better than academy of Sound the place is run by t@ssers!
