I don't work there, but since used Bongos aren't exactly plentiful, I thought I'd mention it.
If anyone is looking for a Bongo, but can't seem to get themselves to pay full price for a new one, then now is your chance!
I noticed on Bass Central's website last night that they had a 5 string Lava Pearl Bongo with SC/H pickups and a black pickguard for $999. That's a pretty smoking deal for a bass described as dead mint. It even still has the stickers on the back.
I've already got a fretted 5 string Bongo, and I have a fretless Bongo on order as we speak--otherwise, I'd have already bought the one at BC.
I was going to pester Jack with this to see if I could talk him into buying it simply to have 4 Bongos since he doesn't have a 5 string with the single coil, but I'm not going to do that since he is in the middle of his move and is probably hemorrhaging money as we speak...
So, someone buy it before Jack even finds out about it to save him some trouble.
