The riding looks great there! That hardpack single track looks like it would be very fun! Mecca.

Right now, if I was told to pack up and move from Tucson, Durango would be the next stop. It was biking nirvana. Didn't have as much trouble with the climbs as I had expected. Dry Fork Trail was awesome, 4.5 mile climb, 4.5 mile decent. Some of the sickest singletrack I've ever been on.

I did a race at Brianhead Utah, and it was about 8 million feet above sea level. Thought I was gonna die. The day after the race, I did DH runs all day, taking the lift up the hill:eek: . Altitude sucks, but it's only temporary. Colorado is a very tempting place for an MTB person.

Great pics Tom. That area is beautiful.

I'm lucky to have several of the best trail systems in the country within a 40 minute drive from my house. A quick look at our SORBA website, and you can see what an active group it is.

Haven't been to Colorado since I was a teenager. (No snide comments about how long ago that was please.:D )

I think my wife and I are going to try skiing next year though. I think she's looking at places in Durango.

Shoot Larry, I'll set up an automated email that will remind you every month or so.

October is approaching pretty darn quick, ain't it. Getting excited.
