Can one of you who owns a Valentine tell me if the case it comes in is the standard EBMM case or is it fit for only the Valentine? I'm thinking about getting a case for my SBMM JV60.

Thanks

Externally they all appear to be the same, save for the little stuck on "Valentine" label. However, it appears to be formed inside specifically for the Valentine... which they probably do for every case that comes with each model(Valentine is my only EBMM). If you Google "Ernie Ball Valentine Case" and look at images, you'll see some with and without the guitar inside.

Hope this helps.

Yes - that helps a lot. Those cases don't appear for purchase anywhere online. Only the "generic" type that fits different EBMM guitars.

Thanks

The Valentine is one of the larger guitars EBMM makes, and will have a different case. The shell at least has to be as large as what the Cutlass comes with, or it could be larger, as it's both longer and wider than the Cutlass. Can tell you with certainty that the Cutlass case is significantly larger than the standard case that you can buy from dealers.

EBMM might sell you a Valentine case if you contact customer service.

The Cutlass case and the Valentine case are the same case with model specific molded interiors.
