Hey guys. Having trouble finding a solid resource on the web to appraise my bass that I unfortunately have to sell. I'm pretty sure I bought it new in 2001. It has a rosewood neck. Serial number is E22618. Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. Thanks for any help you can provide.

A 2001 SR5 with a rosewood NECK? Do tell. Or maybe a rosewood fingerboard? That would be understandable.

The market come and goes. I've bought and sold many SR5s for around 850-950.

The price will be dependent on what the buyer is looking for. I've found that the color could play a part in what the bass could be worth. For instance, I would pay MORE for a transparent finish, and less for say a black bass. That's just me, so I'm sure others will chime in.

It's worth whatever u can get for it, it's a bad time to be selling gear but if you have to sell it then you have to take whatever you get. jack's price is prob right but don't be surprised if you have to let it go cheaper
