Hi guys,

I've recently found and bought an insanely cool BFR L3 HSS (will post pictures once I have it - currently it's stuck in customs service, which I've read can take quite a while here in Denmark :().
I'm pretty sure it'll become my main guitar for all live gigs, and most likely also for the majority of the recording sessions I do. But that kind of makes my good old '97 Luke I obsolete :(

On the one hand I really don't want to sell it - soooo many good memories from that guitar, it's been an important part of me for the past 19 years. On the other hand, if it ends up just sitting in its case.... it might as well find a new home.

So I'm wondering, what is the actual value of such an instrument? It's in very good condition for its age - practically no dings or scratches, despite having played hundreds of gigs. I take good care of my instruments ;) I think if I bring to a local music shop they won't pay much for it... but among connoisseurs (aka nerds), such as myself and all you fellow forumites, I wonder if it still have some value?

So, what would people such as your good selves trade such an instrument for?

Thanks!

Kasper
