Considering selling my 2012 Luke III Olive gold with rosewood neck and H H pickup configuration. Can't find a single one of these being sold online anytime this year after some initial searching therefore I have no real reference for it's price. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I'm not sure about the price, I just checked how much a second hand luke III costs here in Italy and the only one I found is different colour, same configuration but one year old in perfect condition, the seller is asking 1.950 Euros. I don't know if consider it a good or a bad price but a brand new one, same colour here is 2.412 Euros.
I know i didn't help much but, better than nothing :)

In my experience I've seen these selling all over the place price wise, depends on where you are, who's buying, the guitar buying climate in your area and what someone is willing to pay at the time etc. Generally they seem to sell around the 1500-1600 USD mark. I'm in Canada, and similar LIII's guitars are up for $1650-1750 CAD currently, they don't come up often really, probably because they're awesome. :D

True, it's really stellar and because of the whole rosewood legality thing I doubt they'll ever be doing solid rosewood necks again, though I hope I'm wrong. Wouldn't be selling it if I didn't need to. Thanks for your help guys!

That's a tough one to call. The 2012 Olive Gold/Rosewood Neck was only made one year. The few I have seen for sale prices have been higher than new.

I love my Luke III HH Olive Gold - that neck is really perfect for me!!

Don’t know if I’d say “never”, but I bet the solid rosewood necks will be a RARE beast from here on out - and at a substantial price premium.
